Right Place, Right Time

This is the very bold bird who sounds a continual alarm whenever the cat is in the yard. It's kind of like having a car alarm go off in the neighborhood. You know, the one that no one ever turns off. The bird hovers around us, on the ground, in the air, beeping every few seconds. Our cat is just not interested in the whole thing, but it drives me crazy. 
As for the photo bombing swallowtail, his wings look a little the worse for wear, but it was nice of him to fly through when I needed him.
