Luscious

Broom are ten a penny at this time of year. Look at any hillside and it's yellow. But some plants are better than others.

Coming back from climbing the South Sutor, I was caught by this because the flowers were so perfect, so full, so downright luscious. Next to it, leaning on it actually, was a wild rose. I couldn't make a satisfactory shot, but oh boy, standing close up to this and getting the heady scent of the rose was something else.
