Chicory

This is the first wildflower I recall from childhood. Rarely seen today around here, it was prolific in fields and cracks in parking lots. I’m always tickled to blip one because of its unique color and frilly petals. My camera’s battery was uncharged, so this blurry phone photo saved the day.
