LD 104 Meeting number four

As those who follow my blips will know, the SNP Constituency Association for Argyll and Bute meets on the first Sunday of the month, almost always in Tarbert which means a pleasant return ferry journey (most of the time) across Loch Fyne .

But COVID has changed all that.   The ferry has been off since late March and in any case such meetings were prohibited as we all locked down .

So we have moved to the cloud, so to speak, and today was our fourth Zoom meeting of the CA with 38 people there (some couples were sharing cameras) and a good range of issues covered.

My surroundings were also just as pleasant , even though we had some heavy showers blowing through.

The only thing we couldn't replicate was the hospitality of the Tarbert branch which is always great.   I look forward to the scones just as soon as we can physically get together again.
