Old Dutch barn

Another day of gardening and staying around home.  I went for a walk through the farmyard this afternoon and found T hosing down the combine harvester in readiness for harvesting the oilseed rape possibly at the end of the week.  He is also contracting for another farmer a few miles away so there are busy times ahead doing both - depending on the weather!  Further down the hill stands this old Dutch barn which in a month or so will be full up with new straw bales.  At the moment those from last summer stand in the corner, they will remain til next winter when the cattle are back in the yards.
