Berkshire Birding

A Pallas's Warbler at Moor Green Lakes, two Eurasian White-fronted Geese and a Siberian Chiffchaff at Dorney Wetlands at Eton Wick were today's targets. The Pallas's is a fairly long staying bird, some nice photos have been posted, but today a lot of birders spent a lot of time not finding it. Significantly higher water levels in the river, which had covered its favourite feeding areas seemed to be the popular excuse.

Onto Eton Wick and although we parked in the wrong place, walked round in the wrong direction we eventually came across today's photographed two Eurasian White-fronted Geese in the flock of Canadas. No such luck with the Siberian Chiffchaff though. We should have given it more time, but the cold wind blowing across Dorney Common didn't exactly inspire us. We did though find Goldcrest and RCB's blipped a "non-Siberian" Chiffchaff.
