Drama in the milkweed plant

There was a visitor in the milkweed plant. A wasp was canvasing the plant inch by inch for milkweed eggs. The wasps have several nests under the eves, too high for us to reach.
In the other flowerbed, a little amaryllis seed has sprouted.
