Rose in the garden...

It's been quite a busy day... I met Claire for lunch in Cambridge, we went to the Pizza Hut. We had a good meal in an eerily quiet restaurant... all the Covid-19 precautions made this a very different experience to what I would call normal. And if things are going to return to anything like normal Pizza Hut for one are going to need to attract more people in.

I had a many times postponed visit to the dentist this afternoon. An unpleasant and painful time as the work I needed in March is now much more involved and no doubt much more expensive.

This evening it was a meeting of the village hall committee, hopefully we can allow activities to restart in September...
