More straws.

Apparently they were invented by Mr Marvin Stone in 1888 whilst drinking a mint julep.

The bendy straw, with the concertina hinge arrangement, was invented in 1937 by Mr Joseph Friedman.

One wonders just what the next stage in straw development/evolution will be! Or is it just me???
