The Lion Sleeps Tonight

Coco (aka The Ginger Whinger) has recently taken to leaning against you, falling asleep with her front legs poker straight and the back half of her body lying in the normal sleeping position. Had cats for 30 years, this is a new one on us.

My album of the day is "Wasp Star (Apple Venus Volume 2)" by XTC. One of the most interesting bands to come out of the punk and post-punk scene, this album is more guitar-orientated than "Volume 1". Clever lyrics were always a trademark of the band, a couple of low points but overall a collection of witty, well-constructed pop songs.
