SANTALINA AND STATICE

Collected from the driveway and my herb garden in the Karoo, the santalina and statice liven up the fireplace in the summer months. The statice is self sewn and I collect huge bunches of mauve, pink and white flowers in early summer before the hot sun bleaches the colour to a pale sameness.
