Wheel meet again ...

What goes around comes around! These desirable seafront apartments were built in 2013 on the site of part of the former Porty Fun Park. This week a Ferris wheel has appeared without any warning. Its presence has divided opinions - like everything that happens these days! I think it is far better here than the bigger one that is usually squeezed into Princes Street at this time of year. There is some doubt about whether its licence to operate will be revoked before 24th August when funfairs may be allowed to open again.

Great to be back in the town offices of our voluntary organisation this morning.

Better still to meet Lady Findhorn and sample one of her legendary delicious scones in her socially distanced garden. You cannot do that on a Zoom call!

T played string duets with her sister.

Taking the car into town is slow, environmentally unfriendly and very expensive to park. We are all missing the convenience of the buses and hope they will become more virus friendly soon!
