Rats

I have a new favourite animal! We've seen these cute rats by the lake at Northlands Park, Basildon before but this time I spent a bit of time watching them, and they are delightful. There are a fair few fishing areas (for want of a proper term) around the lake and about 10 rats were quick to scour the place for any left over things to eat once an area was vacated. They seem incredibly playful!

This one stayed stationary long enough for a MM photo. I like the angles in the extra :)
