Lychnis coronaria

A rumble of thunder, & then down it came. Not enough, but it saved me watering the plot, so as I was going nowhere until the rain stops, I stood, stationary, in the shed snipping the seed heads off the Lychnis. The rain stopped as I was finishing. I picked a tray of runner beans, picked 4 more courgettes, then headed home. Spent the day tidying the garden at home. Pruned the male Holly tree back quite hard. Moved the prunings up to the allotment. Job done!
Made runner bean & courgette sabzi to go with our Indian inspired grub tonight.
