Back from the first day back

First day back at school for George. I thought his new shirt still looked remarkably clean and rumple-free, especially with the roasting day we've had. 

I asked him how it had gone. On the one hand, he'd enjoyed seeing his pals again. On the other, he was concerned about the lack of masks and social distancing in the classrooms. 

Didn't really know what to say to reassure him: I guess we'll all have to see how it works out.
