Saturday 28 March 2009: The Joys of life
With the start of the Transvaal Easter School Holidays, we have been blessed with the safe arrival of my sis, Carien, her husband, Andre and three kids from Featherbrooke, in the West Rand, (close to Jo'burg) for a week's visit.
An important feature was this piece of machinery that was towed all the way for an excursion which at this very moment is being planned and plotted by Andre and Johann.
They will be leaving within the next day or so for a tour to Cape Town and the West Coast and will also have a sleep over at my brother, Jan's, place in Ceres in the area known as 'Die Koue Bokkeveld'.
Andre is an old hand at biking and after having been without these pleasures for some time, has recently acquired this new piece of Joy - a Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom.
