Watching us.

We walked down the back lane and noted all the damage and debris from the recent storm. Up in the field we saw the sheep were shorn. Most ignored our presence. Wonder if these two were in my photos taken around here on 5 May or 11 June, when Lockdown was stricter than now? Looking further afield we saw the crops had ripened and some fields were yellow - for a while they were beyond where we could go. Strange days.

When we got back I was pleased to see that the Council had sandbagged an area at the bottom of our garden - run off water had been an issue during the torrential rain. I emailed on 12 August, the Councillor phoned thereafter for details, and the job is now done. Excellent.

In the early evening our older son was over this way and we’d a short local walk together.

Later we watched a debate from the Parliament at Holyrood this afternoon.
