Rumours from the Royal Mile

Always interested to know what's going on around the Canongate section of the Royal Mile, as it's the area our guests are most likely to discover first when heading out from Craigwell Cottage.

So it was with interested that I spotted on Facebook in the last few days that Mimi's Bakehouse, who've had such success with their venture in Leith, will be opening a take-away bakery in the Canongate. If the rumour I heard today is true then it might even be in this very shop opposite Cranachan and Crowdie and Wedgwood. Good news!
