It rained again

For most of the day so after M&F left this morning I didn't feel too guilty in having a quiet day alternating between doing a bit more on the blanket and reading my book.

However, as it's our last day here there's some tidying up to be done so I did galvanise myself this afternoon and later on the sun showed  her face briefly to allow a pleasant walk round the lovely garden and the ducks' house to attend to for the last time.  

Our friends return from their sailing holiday in France tomorrow but as they will be quarantining our paths won't be able to cross, so we''ll be up early, feed the cats, let the ducks out and off having loved our few days here.
