Day 1 and it's been very hard to find/take a good shot already, not the start I was hoping for. So rather than something I'm technically or artistically happy with this is one that captures the overwhelming mood and feeling of the streets of Sofia I've witnessed so far.
Not saying all of Sofia is like this by any means but exploring the city the day after new year felt like everyone was nursing a hangover.

This lady didn't appear to be homeless but was wearing just her coat and a pair of slippers, seemingly in defiance of the grim, cold weather.
