Jelly Beans

The name of these Californian poppies. August Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK. And although a couple of times this morning I thought it was going to rain, it has stayed fine, the sun has shone although the wind is a little chilly.

Did my grocery shop this morning. the supermarket was busy, but everyone was on good behaviour ;-)) Masks were being worn, children under control, and I didn't have to queue for long :-)

After lunch I cut the grass. Took the cutters up a notch as it was quite long and still a bit damp. The rain has done it some good, and it appears to be slowly recovering from the sod webworms. Staked the cosmos and penstemon, pulled a few weeds, more to do, tomorrows another day;-)

 Now sat at the computer with a G&T and some nibbles, life is good! Hope you have all had a good day :-)
