The Bridge On The River Wye

Day 162 of COVID-19 UK lockdown (opening up)

I've been mostly stuck around the house until mid afternoon with the workmen finishing off the car port loft, a surveyor doing plans for the council planning department for a conservatory, a blind being repaired, and the electrician correcting a wiring error!

This evening I travelled into Ross on Wye to get a couple of bottles of gin to make sloe gin from 4lb of sloes we picked on our walk last Sunday. I crossed over The Bridge On The River Wye (a grade 1 structure built in 1599) ........ ideal for this weeks Wide Wednesday theme of 'book titles' - mine being   The Bridge On The River Kwai  by Pierre Boulle (1952)!
