Perth #2, The City

Whilst the forecast for the weekend looked ok Thursday was a different story so we headed into Edinburgh for a wander and a few craft beers.

With no real plan we decided to head for Dean Village in Edinburgh as it was meant to be architecturally interesting. We soon came across the "Water of Leith" and decided to follow it and we did almost all the way to Leith itself as it wended through woods, down weirs, through building sites, parks and city streets, it was great fun especially being titally unplanned.

Not fancying the walk back to the city centre we hopped on a bus and so alighted at Princes Street. It was then time for the craft beer part of the day and the heavens that had done well so far finally opened for the evening, it made navigation a bit tricky in places but when we got to Haymarket station it certainly made for some atmospheric photography
