Broughton house

Trip to Kirkcubright today with the Galloway gardeners to visit the limes garden then after a lunchtime wander around the place to Mrs McGregor's nursery and garden.
Enjoyed by all coming away with inspiration, noted plant lists and purchased plants.
Broughton House is an 18th-century town house standing on the High Street of Kirkcudbright, south-west Scotland.
It was the home of Scots impressionist artist E. A. Hornel and has a Japanese influenced garden yet to be visited by the group.
It is due to reopen next week to visitors.
Apologies for the quality had to photo the computer screen with the iPad.
