Blown in the Wind

After a little shopping, a visit to the bank and Mother to exercise class we had our daily coffee down at the Esplanade Cafe. Strong wind blowing off the sea, whipping up fine spumes of sea spray.

On the way home we drove along Wilson's Drive to Lawyers Head something we have been unable to do for a couple of years due to a new pipeline being placed out to sea for release of treated sewage - appalling practise for the 21st Century.

Today the road was opened to traffic for the first time and it was lovely being able to drive along and up onto Lawyers Head Lookout where we watched this toddler battle with the wind as he walked with his parents. He appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the challenge. The wind was fierce I can assure you...I nearly got blown off my stout foundations when I went to look over the edge to Tomahawk and Smaills beaches east along the coast.
