Cycles

I doubt if there is much good to be said about Covid isolation. But at least, if you walk the same paths day after day, you become more aware of the cycles of the seasons.

When I started blipping, way back in March, the focus was the daily changes in the brilliant autumn colours. Then there was a short interlude with bare winter branches. That was followed by wave after wave of spring blossom. And now it’s the translucent lime green of new leaves.

It’s good to have your eyes opened to the cycles of the seasons. But I kind of hope there will be new things to focus on by next year!
