This week my Studio Art elective students have been submitting their latest Artwork for assessment and today I started the grading process. This lovely textural mixed-media piece was created by Cansu, a keen and thoughtful artist who is a great example of the extraordinary students with whom I work. Joy on a daily basis.

I asked Cansu for permission to publish this photo of her collage. That the artist has intellectual as well as physical ownership of their work is an important concept for students to learn.
