Home stay

I am staying with another of 'Airbnb's' host families in Mackay and one of the other guests is Spanish and a lot of fun. I thoroughly recommend the website for short stays and great experiences with local, and not so local people! For the last few days it has rained continuously, so today has been a day for relaxing on the veranda with a glass of wine. Marian leaves tonight and I'll miss her a lot, but Lofty arrives on Monday evening to start our camping holiday up the Whitsunday's to Cairns. Looking forward to it!
