2 Sausage dogs

Mr B finally got a game of tennis today, in the Central Gardens. Think that’s it for a while. From tomorrow we’re back to self-imposed lockdown. Although still ‘lowish’ here, cases are escalating fast.

We are live on the edge of the two worst affected Bournemouth wards.  Staff with covid at three local surgeries, so they are closed for deep cleans.  There have been cases at a handful of schools, and ‘several’ at a local uni.

Lockdown seems close in London and other places, all further North.

In other news, the gentleman blipped was happy for me to take this image, with the darling baby dachshund snuggled up in his bag.

Collected my man from tennis, late morning. Strolled home.  Luckily the forecast heavy rain only materialised for a short burst mid afternoon..

I don’t often watch tennis, but three good quarter-finals today. Watched the enthralling Thiem/Schwartzman.  Now Trevisan (Italian)/Sviatek - sadly the Pole has the upperhand so far (has just won).  Sinner (Italian)/Nadal follow, if I can stay awake.

Back to the matches ....
