Lunch at the Smith gallery

Well, it was an unexpected treat to visit the Smith museum and gallery today in Stirling for Sunday lunch.

The entrance was bright, cheerful and colourful, decorated out for Halloween
giving the place a zany, edgy feel and the “icing on the cake” if you can call it that is the presence of young Hamish the new museum attendant with his Mohican red hairstyle.
(Yes it does take him a long time each day to get it into that style. I asked).
The musuem and gallery had an unexpected buzz busy with mainly young people.

One side effect of Covid is that people are desperate to get out, go somewhere safe and pleasant to eat , meet up with friends and enjoy a bit of culture at the same time.
And The Smith ticked all these boxes.
