Just as in Spring some tree varieties put out there leaves earlier than others, so in Autumn some are first to lose all their foliage.

This is a Small Leaved Lime Tree. It is a single tree with multiple trunks all coming from a common root base.

It is part of a small woodland which we bought several years ago for conservation.
