SUN!

It was so bright and beautiful for awhile midday. On our walk we were almost blinded by the sun on the water in this view of Trincomali channel I think I haven't blipped before. Spent the Saturday afternoon happily in the studio with the opera from the met on the radio - Rigoletto. (I confess I had a little trouble visualizing this new production in Las Vegas in the 60s. - they kept describing the scenes- casino, hotel elevators, garish jackets, lots of neon lights- humnm, I remember dark and dreary. ) Still gorgeous music. Lovely day.
Big winds are predicted for tonight. Everything is "battened down" but we are cozy as can be.
