Leftovers

We needed to use up some stuff from the packed freezer and the kale was starting to yellow, so the result was chicken and prawn curry for our tea with a big pot of pilau rice to go with it. Both got S’s seal of approval but the leftovers will be my lunch tomorrow - they’re in the fridge and we now need to make space there!
We were out and about looking for goldfish this afternoon (new ones not escapees) but without luck. Ended up in a place out past Tranent that’s owned by the guy who had an aquarium shop on Leith Walk we used to frequent before the tramworks put him out of business. Now he’s struggling through a different crisis but seems to be doing OK with an online venture (tanks and supplies, not fish) so hopefully this shop will survive. No goldfish though except for ponds and apparently it’s going to become illegal to keep them at home. Changed days from when you could come home from the shows with a fish in a polly bag!
