Getting A Bit Twitchy

Decided to drive out to the RSPB Reserve at Ham Wall for a walk this morning and guessed something unusual was afoot when we couldn't get parked in the car parks and even the very narrow lanes were awash with parked cars. It turns out that the cause of all the interest was a pied-billed grebe, a rare visitor from the USA.

Apparently it had been spotted very early this morning but hadn't deigned to show its bill since. We decided there was a small fortune in lenses gathered togther in this one spot.
