DUCKS AT DAWN

I could, and do, spend hours observing the local duck community, who hang out in the local bird sanctuary in East London.
The special element is that anytime now, a pair of Mallards will take up residence on our roof terrace and hopefully make their nest in their favourite plant container.
I can then spend even more hours watching them during the summer months, until
the eggs are hatched and ducklings dispatched, back to the safe waters of the reserve.
Such perfect symbiosis.
