Storm Aidan , a blue moon & the rainbow

We went to Ardardan in torrential rain and gale force winds to have a coffee in the barn. It was very wild !
I think we perhaps need to change the programme in our brains that equates going out for coffee with time to relax and talk to each other.
Other than seeing this beautiful rainbow, I think perhaps we should have stayed at home !
I missed my walk, but got quite absorbed in some domestic tasks and made some nice things with some of our apples and made a lovely red cabbage recipe for our dinner.
N had organised a fantastic zoom Halloween party for C and his pals and I got to join in . It was lovely !
J watched the rugby.
After dark we drive down to Ardmore to see if the blue moon was visible but it wasn't.
Later it was clearly visible from the garden .
The next time there is a full moon at Halloween will be 2039 .
