A Mimosa for Me, Please!

This tiny Syrphid fly, a species of Hover flies, was throughly enjoying the  Sunshine Mimosa flowers this morning! It's easy to see why these little insects are commonly called 'flower flies'!  They are beneficial because whereas the adult feeds on pollen and nectar, it's larval stage feasts on insects and is especially fond of aphids! A Peaceful and Safe Week to All. :)
