Showery November Sky

Basil and I went to Nanpantan Reservoir this afternoon. It was likely to be our last walk there until after lockdown.

The sky was magnificent festooned with the remnants of shower clouds, the light reflected in the surface of the water.

Frustrated at not having the login credentials to the camera club website. I hope it gets sorted soon.

We did two circuits of the reservoir. I hope that was enough exercise. Basil would dearly love to go off the lead there but it's 'not allowed.'

Tonight's speaker at camera club talked about her trip to Cuba in 2017. She showed lots of photos of buildings many of which appeared to have been renovated and tastefully painted. There were, of course, also the ruins.

What puzzled me was that she took so many photos of buildings but no portraits of people. Seemed a bit of a waste of time to go all that way and not capture a sense of life in the country.
