At last I got to drive to Sharjah to drop off my documents with the Saudi visa agent, to renew my business visa. 
On my way back I nipped in past the Design District, where I used to work. 

The police checkpoint at the Abu Dhabi border wasn’t as bad as expected. Now I’d better find out about the follow up COVID test, as I think it has to be done within 4 days or else I face a big fine
