HONEY TO THE RESCUE

Honey came to live with my friend Joy after a traumatic burglary. Joy, having lost her sense of safety decided to adopt a dog from TEARS. She spent time at various kennels getting to know the dogs and finally decided that the choice was one of three dogs. She took Fluffy, her aged Maltese poodle along for the final interview. Fluffy growled at the first dog, too boisterous for an old dog? She turned her back on the second dog - too common? When the third dog was presented Fluffy wagged her tail enthusiastically. It was love at first sight. "My you are a Honey," said Joy, and Honey she has reained ever since.
