Wind Pinned

There isn't a current in the inlet, having only a connection to the lake at one end and no other water source. Any movement is due to wind and today it was strong enough to cause quite a drift, enough to trap these leaves in the claw like grasp of a submerged branch.

I noticed today seemed to be one to play blue against orange. The dark sky was predominantly blue, mirrored by the water surface, against which the warm tones of the landscape were amped up and in this case the sodden oak leaves.

Extra: Boathouse Blues.
