Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Just as we got on the ferry going to Vancouver and then the drive home to Seattle, the sun was setting and Mount Baker in Washington appeared dressed in pink across the straits of Georgia. ( Of course this was the nicest, sunniest afternoon all week!) The lighthouse is on Georgina Point, the northernmost tip of Mayne Island, at the entrance to Active Pass. Galiano Island where we get the ferry is on the other side of Active Pass. The original lighthouse is from 1885, but the current light is 1940. It's no longer staffed, but the light shines on!
Lots of traffic driving home. We are ever grateful for a week in paradise just the 2 of us, but good to be here too.
