Rare Sightings

Sunrise this morning - we very rarely see a dawn like this.

And yesteday I spotted a kestrel in the garden, feeding on the ground. It didn't hang about long enough for me to get a shot.  After several years, a new bird to add to my list of birds I've seen here.

I'm sorry that I'm being a very erratic blipper just now. But all of life is out of sorts, so I'm just going with the flow, I suppose, and doing my best to enjoy the trip :-)
