Whitelee windfarm

Whitelee windfarm is the UKs largest onshore windfarm.  it sits on Eaglesham Moor about 15 minutes drive from my home. It has 215 turbines that are capable of producing 539 megawatts of electricity - enough power for 350,000 homes.  Today I wasn't there to look at the wind turbines (or as my grand-daughter says winterbines), but since it was a beautiful sunny day, we drove up in late afternoon to try to capture a sunset.  As fate would have it, thick cloud appeared as were driving there preventing me from getting a clear shot of the sunset, but I was happy with what I got.
