Up at the Sharp End

Most of the boats are out of the the water at Dunbar, East Lothian.

Out of the water in a big way!

Many are being worked on and the smell of new paint mingles with that of kelp washed up on the nearby East Beach.

I would love to be able to tell you the name of this beautiful fishing boat, but they haven't painted the name back on yet!

The title refers to the low f number I used to get hand-held shots walking around the harbour this evening, and the shallow depth of field this gives. It also refers to "The Navy Lark", my favourite radio programme while growing up (or probably not!).
