Bruton Pack Horse Bridge

Took a trip to Bruton this morning for a wander up to the Dovecot and around the town before lunch at a converted chapel in the main street. They also bake their own bread in a wood fired oven and were kind enough to give me a lump of the starter dough, which their chef has had on the go for many years, when they heard I baked my own bread.

The pack horse bridge over the River Brue is believed to date back to the 15th Century.

B&W seemed to suit the raw cold day.
