Blowing hard

Our plan today was to head to Ledbury, then to Hereford and then head home checking out some houses and building plots with a drive by. In Ledbury we wanted to see if a shop we last visited 5 years ago was still there, we found the mews and it was not there; oh well. Down the High Street we went and down into another mews and there is was - it moved two years ago. Hus & Hem sell chic Scandinavian products; well worth a visit if you are in Ledbury and they have a website here.
It was very cold and we decided to give Hereford and driving around a miss and headed home.
We stopped in Cirencester on the way for coffee and cake. Cirencester lies on the lower dip slopes of the Cotswold Hills, an outcrop of oolitic limestone. It was known to be an important early Roman area, along with St. Albans and Colchester.
This guy was playing in one of the side streets. It cannot have been fun, it was not a day for standing around.
