EARLY MORNING, ELSIE'S PEAK

A calm morning and a walk on the slopes of Elsie's Peak before the sun reaches the southern slope. Light still on the dull side but the new growth of the kreupelhout (cripple wood) with its furry leaves makes a lovely foreground pattern. Common name refers to the crooked branching habit of the bush.
