A Quantum Of Solace

New Year's Day, 2021
No special day, our daughter Ell has visited - we had a socially distanced catchup and she took away more of her personal belongings, and items that make space for us. Like a large inkjet printer, and several boxes of clothes. And various other bits and bobs. She is enjoying the relative freedoms of living away from home and we are glad it suits her. Lovely to see this beautiful, intelligent and talented young lady, feeling nothing but pride and gratitude. You never properly let go but life goes on and we are a family still. Just not all in the same place at the same time.
Now to serious matters. I am not a big drinker, but I do like a tipple. 
JD is an old friend, and like all our family and friends he has his place, and will always be welcome in our home. Cheers!
