Calton Hill, Edinburgh

The national monument on top of Calton Hill is inspired by the Parthenon in Athens. Originally intended as a monument to those who died in the Napoleonic Wars, it was never finished. At sundown in between heavy showers and hailstones, there was a moment of calm where the sky was changing moods.
